Difference between Doing-Meditation and State-of-Meditation

The below question is asked by Ramaseshu (vangepuram.ramaseshu@gmail.com) on 3/15/2012 14:41:37.

Question: "the moment I close my eyes for doing meditation i feel like landing in another world and i visualise the scenes are not related to present life which I am leading so confusing what to do".

Reply to your question:

Thanks for asking such question Ramaseshu. Lots of people having the same kind of questions due to misguided by these days so called meditators.

Please clear few things by just commenting of this reply:
1. From where you learnt the process of doing meditation, by reading books or under the supervision of any meditator?
2. Though it is not necessary for meditation, I just want to know your location, age and occupation.
3. From how many days or months or years, you are doing meditation?

You say that "when I close my eyes for doing meditation". Means you are trying to do meditation and still it is not achieved.

Doing-Meditation and to be in State-of-Meditation is two different things. Once you attain the State-of-Meditation then there is no question of being separate of that and no need to do something again to attain the same. One more thing, in meditation there is no doer; you are only the witness and awareness of happenings.

You say that "i feel like landing in another world". Right now, you are trying to do meditation then how it’s possible to be in another world. It is surely your minds prediction, nothing else. When you think something and close your eyes, then your mind creates lots of permutation-combination as per the thought. Current meditators, teach the followers that now you are in different world.

You say that "i visualise the scenes are not related to present life". It is not possible at all. I want to assure you that the happenings in meditation can be new and unknown in nature but surely it should be related to your life. There is nothing in this world which is not co-related with you. One can or cannot see the co-relation in between; it’s a matter of awareness.

You told that "so confusing what to do". How come it’s possible Ramaseshu? If you are confused while doing meditation, it means you are doing something else not meditation. Meditation is to be in the state of awareness, so how a meditator could be confused. I never heard or read that a person who attained the State-of-Meditation and still be confused.

I appreciate Ramaseshu that at least you are trying to do meditation. There is a need to proper guideline. You can read Osho Meditation books if you take any assistance at your home. Don’t think that I am an Osho follower but I cannot recommend any other books as no meditation books are authentic at present. Our own books are still unpublished and we are waiting for some point of concerns.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. If you have any question, then just place your question as comment. I will reply you personally. And if I found that your question is much helpful for others then I will post that reply as a new post.

NAMAN!

Evolution of Sufism and Mahatma Mansoor Philosophy

The question is asked by Sophia on 7/30/2011 12:10:51.

Sir, I read your reply posted on 7/26/2011. I want to know few more things. Please clarify regarding evolution of Sufism and how mahatma Mansoor philosophy was different from Sufism?

Reply to your question:

At the time of Muhammad, the associated Muslim community and followers were collective and only believed on Muhammad sayings and his philosophy i.e. "Allah is only one and Muhammad is the only Prophet sent by him."

["अल्लाह एक है और एक ही उसका भेजा हुआ पैगम्बर है मुहम्मद".]

By the time in next generations, there were few spiritual persons arrived in the same community and started teaching the community what they had experienced during the process of their meditation and their thoughts were something different from existing followers of Muhammad.

People were convinced by the new spiritual approach and started to follow them because they and their philosophy were more authentic than earlier in community. After few decades, the number of followers to this new spiritual approach had grown to more than 10% of the whole Muslim community and the additions in it were continuing at increasing rate.

The religious persons having the same evolving approach were known as "Sufi" and the spiritual approach was known as "Sufism".

So, the base concept behind evolution of Sufism was:

"Allah is only one and Muhammad is the Prophet sent by him that is absolutely true but there can be thousands of Prophets sent by Allah."

["अल्लाह एक है और उसका भेजा हुआ पैगम्बर है मुहम्मद, यह भी ठीक है; लेकिन उसके पैगम्बर हजारों हो सकते हैं यह भी बिल्कुल ठीक है".]

Mahatma Mansoor Philosophy:

Mahatma Mansoor was a Sufi Saint and he was introduced himself as he approached the supreme level of spirituality during meditation. There were also lots of followers devoted to Mahatma Mansoor. His unique philosophy made him so popular in between Sufism devotees but so controversial in between Muslim community.

The whole Muslim community treated Mahatma Mansoor's spiritual approach as an offense in respect of Muhammad as well as Allah and tried to dominate Mansoor by threatening him and his true followers. Generally, the Sufis were non-violent but brave in nature. Mansoor did not care about it and ignored all threats and continued exploring his spiritual experiences in between devotees.

So, by the result, finally Muslim community killed innocent Mahatma Mansoor in front of thousands of people around at the moment and divided his body into pieces just like biriyani. .

The unique approach which made Mahatma Mansoor popular in between Sufis and different from Muhammad followers:

"Allah is only one and Muhammad is the Prophet sent by him that is true."
"There can be thousands of Prophets sent by Allah is also absolutely true."
"But it is also true that I am as equal as Allah i.e. ANALHAQ. Similar to AHAM-BRAHMASMI in Hindu religion".

In Remembrance of Kabir Guru

Is Muhammad the Last Prophet?

The above question is asked by venu1005@hotmail.com on 7/22/2011 14:36:21. Thanks for asking such kind of religious question. Though, this question relates to many controversies, I really feel sorry in advance if anyone hurts because our motto is just to deliver what exactly is going on in this universe.

Reply to the Question: "Is Muhammad the last prophet?"

If you think at the term "Prophet" then there is no meaning of first or last in any religion. Though, in Muslim religion it is heartily believed that Muhammad was the last prophet.

But, if you think that the other similar things which are used in Muslim religion is the term "Interpreter" or "Messenger". Means Muhammad was that divine person who interpreted the unsaid things (Nih-shabd called in Hindu Religion) into words. In other way, he was able to get higher energy in exact way and to convert it in human understandable language.

So, there may be many persons with ability to convert those divine things into words. In every religion, there were lots of similar ability people exist but only few people got publicity. In Muslim religion, also few people arrived in front of the world but the community denied those persons due to high believe and devotion in Muhammad.

In other religions except Christian, people have welcomed of every new version of those types. So, my final answer is "Muhammad is not the last prophet but the related community is not ready to accept the reality that it is a person ability to get that height and very few people have reached that point but it doesn't mean that no one can reach in that state of mind in future".

Hope you will be satisfied with my answer.

Thanks.
